Earthquake Victims French Hanami Fundraising BBQ on April 3rd!

Message from the organizers

Spring is time for new starts, for energy and in the case of Japan to recover from the horrendous Earthquake in the North East region. We want to hold this Spring barbecue for 2 main reasons. One is to remember and raise contributions for those who have suffered recently, lost friends family and are struggling to rebuild their lives. The second is for us to enjoy as people, the life we have now, the friends in our lives and the family that love us. We want to create a positive atmosphere, energy that will help Japan back to it’s feet. The best we can do here in Nagoya being so far away from the tragedy, is to support all we can, offer assistance but more importantly show strength to keep the country running as strongly as before. This attitude can no doubt give those in strife the power to stand again. Let’s raise our glasses to all those who lost their lives, to those they left behind and to the rebuilding of a proud Nation.

    About Robert

I love sports, enjoy cooking and have a soft spot for cats. I have been here in Japan about 7 years and still love it now. I really enjoy being creative and hate to leave things how they are. Changes that improve our lives are always good ones so don't be scared to step out of the circle. if you don't like it, change it - life passes by too quickly not to.
