Nagoya, often overshadowed in terms of reputation by the likes of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto has so much to offer, and complimeted by it's location and rich historcal significance, Nagoya is both an interesting and exciting place to be.  Basing yourself here in Nagoya during your time while in Japan allows you the freedom to explore, as you can reach Tokyo in 1hr and 30 minutes and Osaka in less than an hour.  Where there may not be the larger attractions that pull in the Tokyo crowds, there is so much hidden in and outside the city.  Those who live here will agree, the charm and depth of the city is unique and Nagoya life simply has to be experienced.  We here at Nagoya-info hope to provide you the resources you need for getting to know Nagoya that much better, so you too can make the best of the time you spend here.  If you're a resident in Nagoya, or have some useful information you think might benefit the site and the readers, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Just a small team of foreign residents here in Japan, we have come to know and love the city that we work in.  Over the years we have seen Nagoya gain prominence as a major city for trade and commerce leading to huge amouts of foreign investment, a new airport and subsequently a large increase in the number of foreign visitors and residents.  This inspired us to create this site which, we hope in the future can provide information for everybody and anybody looking to spend some time, however short, in Nagoya city.  Take time to go through the site and be as critically constructive as possible.  What will make this site Nagoya's ultimate information resource, is what you can add and how you can help us, help others.

We hope to initially add as much relevant content to the site, and with your help, add to that daily.  Our next aim will be to  billingual-ize (if thats a word) the site.  From then, we are looking to create a jobs forum and database of Jobs in the Aichi area.  Bare with us please, we are a small team and a busy one but we are dedicated to providing for you, Nagoya's best information portal in English.
