The Destruction
The tsunami which has took thousand lives (4500 to date, 17th March 2011) destroyed whole towns and swallowed entire communities in the North West of Japan. Over 450000 people have been displaced and are huddled together in community centers and schools as support groups struggle to deal with the Crisis. Conditions are such that support groups and volunteers would cause more an obstruction that help so Japan is calling for Water and Food to be distributed. In other areas such as Japan that were largely unaffected, financial support, however small the amount is the most effective way of supporting the relief operations.
How to Donate
Many fans on our Facebook fan page and direct comments to us here have stressed the difficulty in making payments even thoug they want to. We will highlight some of the options available to you.

You can donate money to the Japanese Red Cross Society at Family Mart:
Step 1. Use the machines where you can buy tickets.
Step 2. Look for this Kanji 募金. (The button has a heart and wings)
Step 3. Confirmation page (you can’t get this money back etc.)
Step 4. Choose amount.
Step 5. Take receipt to the counter and pay.
